# What are Sites?

## This article will introduce the concept of "Sites" both as a concept and as a module within Terrand.

### **Introduction**

A "**Site**" is understood as the **physical space where a company carries out its operations**. It is used to identify a hypothetical sector, area, plant, offices, countries, or branches (and anything else that can be adapted to this concept and the functioning of the module). Within **a business**, there can be **multiple sites**. Just like **Actives**, we can also apply the processes we configure to these entities.
