Trainings - People Submodule

The following article contains a complete explanation of the People submodule, which is part of the Trainings module.

Introduction

When carrying out trainings, it’s necessary to designate who will be trained and who will be the trainers. “People” is where you’ll find all the individuals you want to have available for future configurations.

People List

The People screen is almost entirely taken up by the list of individuals. These are organized in rows, showing an ”ID”, “last name” and “first name”, as well as possible actions for each registered person.

It includes all users loaded with an email address via the “People” module (we invite you to check out the following article), whom we understand as users of the application. Additionally, you can add people who are not regular users of the app, since they cannot be assigned via email.

Add New Person

To add a new person to the list, click the “+ Add New Person” button to open the “Add New Person” form, which includes the following fields:

  • First Name (Required)
    Field type: Alphanumeric

  • Last Name (Required)
    Field type: Alphanumeric

  • Employee ID (Required)
    Field type: Alphanumeric

Import

Next to the “+ Add New Person” button, you'll see the “Import” option, which is divided into two actions: “New” and “Edit.”

We recommend using this functionality to simplify large data uploads:

  • Select “New” to load a large number of new users.

  • Select “Edit” to apply many changes at once.

For more details, we invite you to check out the following article.

Actions

As in most lists throughout the platform, actions can be taken on listed items. In this case, the available actions are:

  • View Details (Blue eye) – Opens a screen with the person’s details and allows you to edit the data entered during creation.

  • Delete (Red trash can) – Deletes the user from the list, removing their ability to be assigned as either a student or instructor.
