The creation of a process in TERRAND begins with selecting its structure, which will determine its functionality and the available configuration options. This choice is crucial to ensure that the process properly adapts to your company’s operational needs.


Each type of structure available in TERRAND is designed to optimize specific workflows, ranging from inspections and checklists to multi-stage or fully customized processes.
Below, we explain how to select the process type and the characteristics of each structure.

Steps to Select a Process

1 - Accessing the Creation of a New Process

To begin, follow these steps:
  • Go to the Processes module within the platform.
  • Click the "New Process" button to start the configuration.
  • You will be directed to the first configuration stage: Process Selection.

2 - Defining the General Information of the Process

At this stage, the basic process data must be completed:

  • Process Name (Mandatory): Enter a descriptive name that clearly identifies it.
  • Departments with Access: Select the departments that will be able to initiate and manage this process.

If none are selected, the process will be accessible to all departments configured in the business profile.
Once these fields are completed, you can proceed with selecting the process structure.

3 - Selecting the Structure Type

TERRAND offers different process structures, each with specific characteristics. Below is an explanation of each:

  •  InspectionDesigned for managing checklists and inspections efficiently.
    Allows information capture through structured forms.
    Enables linking incidents to inspection records.
    Compatible with various response formats (checkboxes, images, signatures, etc.).
  •  Multi-Stage Flow
    Ideal for sequential processes, where each stage must be completed before advancing to the next.
    Displays previous stage information in chronological order.
    Shows process progress and remaining stages.
    Supports conditional rules to skip stages based on predefined criteria.
    Advanced management options, including approval, rejection, or rescheduling of stages.
  •  Notification
    Used for generating alerts and notifications within the platform.
    Allows configuring alerts directed at specific users.
    Can be linked to other modules for incident or task tracking.
  •  Custom
    The most flexible option for designing tailored processes.
    Offers all functionalities available in TERRAND.
    Allows configuring advanced rules, custom fields, and approval flows.
    Ideal for processes that do not fit into predefined structures.

Once the structure type is selected, click "Next" to continue with the process configuration.
